That's not what it's about though. This is about disingenuous "activism". A harmless Nicole Scherzinger comment, really? Where's the outrage about actual fascism and where's the commitment to doing something about that?

Online performance activism is garbage, incl. among queers. People log off after trying to cancel someone and think they've done something. Cue the resulting complacency about real life political challenges. She would explain it the same way though "I believe in free speech, the ending of forever wars and protection of children's health".

Clearly she does not understand, and I'd say the vast majority of Trump voters genuinely don't understand, that she voted for "disrupting unity and putting entire communities in jeopardy". Telling these people to "rot" and calling them fascism sympathizers is obviously counterproductive.

Is she delusional and misinformed? Probably. Do we now need to ruin every Republican voter's career and forbid them from ever communicating anything related to love and unity because they are clearly monsters who can't understand those concept anyway unlike us? Queer people should never express displeasure with someone's behaviour, regardless of how harmful it is, lest someone gets traumatised by it and becomes a fascist 

Anyway, take your own que and do something productive - noone is framing this as activism, we are allowed to vent, especially since a lot of the time we are recovering from some kind of trauma brought upon by the people Nicole apparently sees no problems with...
