There was a time when hit songs mattered a lot, but not so much now. There will be LG7 and then there will be a tour, and if anyone wants to get into measuring success, the success of that tour will be what matters, not whether there are any 'hits'. Disease sounds absolutely nothing like any other Gaga single. It’s FAR from the dance pop she is known for. It is a new sound for her! Maybe Stupid Love was trying to recreate the past, but definitely not Disease. Why is the author saying Gaga should innovate? She DID innovate with Disease.
