I mean yes. But for how long was it no1? Did it have longevity? No hun. I like Ari but the album is quiet forgettable so I think that is the main reason why it was ”snubbed”. I guess everybody who gave Taylor's discography a chance would agree that it's her weakest album. But since when Grammy's evaluate quality? They just nominated the best selling album of the year

While I agree that in terms of production is weak, actually the songs sound way better with the band on tour. I do think is her most personal and raw album yet Even though I don't think it'll win this year, at least not AOTY, because Midnights just won that same award earlier this year and the grammys have already given it to her twice this decade. I see TS12 becoming another shift in her career, maybe she could work with new producers or do something different the next era, she always does after losing an AOTY just see the RED/1989, reputation/Lover/folklore, evermore/Midnights pattern. I always thought she would be and she'd either perform DWAS with Bruno, or potentially use the event to perform something from LG7 as a launchpad promo for the album (both are February after all...)? Although, the fact DWAS hasn't got a ROTY nom and might get pushed out of SOTY, I'm doubting now even if Gaga will attend... StrawberryBlond 13,984
I really hoped the academy would put the kibosh on Taylor getting lots of nominations because the album was her worst reviewed for a while and gained lots of controversy by being like herpes on the charts because she resorted to underhand tactics to keep there. But no, the academy's still crowded out with Swift fans who show no sign of letting up. Still can't get over that Sabrina was allowed to be nominated for new artist despite this being her sixth album when other artists who'd released less were locked out of this. They should just rename it to "best breakthrough artist." Good on Charli for getting recognition. Her music isn't my style but it's so difficult to get noticed by the Grammys if you're not American that I love to see it. Chris Brown still getting nominations after all he's done and continues to do is disgusting. Beyonce's 11 nominations running the full gamut of possibilities is unfathomable. The academy continuing to indulge her but never giving the same privilege to other artists must really cheese off everyone else.

All of the pop girl albums from this year suck and i’m going back to the early-mid 2010s where i belong. Everything started going downhill in 2023. It was a disaster and 2024 made it worse.
