I just spent my entire work-day building a spreadsheet comparing HOT100 Peaks, Critic Scores and overall cultural impact (assigned a number, 1-5 or 10). To predict some winners. This is how it stands: 

ROTY: 

Winner: Espresso

Runner Up: Birds of a Feather

 

SOTY: 

Winner: Die With a Smile 

Runner Up: Birds of a Feather

 

POP SOLO

Winner: Espresso

Runner Up: Birds of a Feather

 

POP DUO: 

Winner: Die With a Smile 

Runner Up: Guess

 

POP VOCAL ALBUM: 

Too hard to predict. Based on my calculations: Short n Sweet would win by a tiny margin. All other albums except TPD are stepping on Sabrinas foot. Runner up is HIT ME HARD AND SOFT 

Depending on whether a voter takes into account more critical or commercial performance, the runner up and winner switch. I tried to balance it out by giving Critics score a heavier weight considering Grammys are "allegedly" not a popularity contest. 

Based on my observations I also think the predictions are somewhat aligned. Pop Duo is pretty much on lock for DWAS. Initially my two main SOTY competitors against Gaga and Bruno were Billie and Benson Boone (which was snubbed out of the category). Now I think SOTY will go down to three songs: DWAS, BOAS and Fortnight. Out of the three, Fortnight had the least favorable critic review, so I see it as less of a threat. If it has a chance it will be because its Taylor Swift. However, Billie is a huge grammy darling who has won this category before AND Bruno has not lost a single nomination since 2014, winning ROTY several times. This gives me hope that DWAS could have a legit shot. Maybe even more so than when Shallow was nominated.

She’s similar to Gaga in that she’s missing that Big 3 win and usually nominations

To be honest with you, I don’t need grammies. Sure, a live performance of AirPods on television would have been a moment. 
We would start with 

Sleep With You Again then we would go into Gush, then FBB, then Roses, then IDCAYA. It would be like 5 minutes long.

And we would have the other songs’ motifs as like transitions. I wanna turn this f***er into a musical.

Ugh. My flop career that could have been. Well at least we have Chapell Roan.

it spawned 2 number one hits on the hot 100 from the same album, hasnt been done in several years and has 3+ billions streams wdym its not that big? its arguably bigger than most of the ones who were nominated if were strictly looking at numbers.
