Our machines are not connected to the internet, the machines print out zeros at the opening, and then prints out the votes at the end of the day, and the number of people who showed up to vote HAS to match the number of votes printed out at the end. There are countless other safety measures that are shown to the population, and the whole country has to abide to the same system, same machines, and follow the same rules from the federal electoral organization. This organization is literally a neutral power, like we have the Superior Court of Justice, we have the Superior Electoral Court, with state and city level courts.
