Does she really live in America for less than half the year to qualify for tax exemption? She only shows up anywhere else temporarily when she's clearly on vacation. For her sake, she'd better be truthful about how much time she spends there or she could be the next Shakira. Tax-dodging billionaire celebrities don't exactly get much sympathy.

that's not an explanation of why she doesn't have citizenship. it's an explanation of how she can live in the US without one (aka: green card). and that's by paying a lot of taxes basically.
