The universe is so vast and we still don’t know much of it. I don’t understand how it’s full of yourself to want to know and explore it. 
 

I love learning about our universe and I want to know what else could be out there in terms of life. It’s not as if it’s likely we’ll be able to travel space within our life time, so it’s odd to write someone off because of something hypothetical. 
 

Would it make sense if I said I wouldn’t date someone if they said they want to time travel if they could?

Honestly, I thought I understood where she was coming from at first, but when she said wanting to go to space makes a guy ‘too full of himself,’ I was like… wait, what?! 😂 For me, the real red flag would be that space is so crazy and dangerous! I wouldn’t want to date someone who’s willing to risk everything to go up there. Who knows what other crazy sh*t they’d be down to try! 😂

I mean, wanting to go to space doesn’t necesarelly = colonizing space. You could just wanna go for travel purposes, out of curiosity to see what’s up there, idk. I just think it’s weird to immediatly jump to ‘colonization’, not everyone interested in space is like Elon. Lol

Exploring space and a potential planet that could host our species knowing well you won't ever be part of that civilisation but only doing it to help your co-humans is anything but.
