They are projections, so they take into account the points a song is predicted to make throughout the week, based on how the song is trending.

It's possible they are being conservative though with figures, especially since discount + new variants came midweek.

im getting the feeling the DWAS prediction is actually wrong, the difference is sooo small, and they really went hard promoting it this week, i still have faith it will get number 1

Shallow debuted top 30 and grew and I'm hoping this follows the same trajectory.

The twitter hype post video release is a good start, we only need Tik Tok and growing radio support for the song to become more popular with the GP. Slow and steady wins the race.

They really should change the Hot 100 and make it more global tbh. It doesn't really reflect current music trends anymore.

Legacy media like US radio isn't the bellweather it once was. And US is now just one of many major music markets.

The Global 200 is a nice first step, but it would be nice to be able to retain the Hot 100's history with it.
