I defended Taylor's smart business decision and said if people are wiling to purchase the music, it should count the same way toward a #1. I said if that many people are willing to open up their wallets and purchase multiple times (no one is holding a gun to their head, after all), it says a lot about her star power and the #1 is deserved. About disease, it's not the most gp friendly song imo, almost feels like a love letter to the long time fans, especially the mv. I think she'll have more gp friendly songs that will chart better, the snippet on the radio sounded much more "light" and something that the gp would enjoy more. Gaga and Bruno are doing it for one week to get the US number one this song very much very deserves. It's been the most popular song in the world for weeks and weeks. So while I get your point, I think this situation is different. Now if they keep doing it after securing the US number one?
