However, when the first clips of the video were posted, and I took a peek at Tanu Muiño's work, it was clear to me that was not going to be the artistic direction for the video. It's such an interesting contrast, because it truly is just a shift in the color palette, yet the end result brings quite a different experience. 

I feel like particularly the indoor scenes, benefit greatly from a colder palette, as it reinforces the claustrophobic feeling of the song. 

Certain scenes feel more unsettling when presented in a more distant, colder manner. It adds to the idea of the solitude present in a battle with one self. 

The decision of filming most of the video in broad daylight, informs the tone. And it may have diminished the impact, of the horror imagery from certain shots. 

Some of the makeup looks also gain depth when stylized in fantasy lighting, as it strenghtens the eerieness of the aesthetic approach. 

Of course, not every single shot benefits from excessive styling. There are moments from the video which work very well in natural lighting, like the car chasing scene. The seemingly normal and tranquil environment, clashes with the perceived danger of the situation, and it works. 

But it is impossible for me not to notice how the more horror-like elements do feel more organic, when presented in a highly stylized way. 

So that's literally it. I was just wondering how the video would look like, if it was edited like the teasers . 

The natural lighting approach works for me, on certain scenes, but for visuals like the cell battle, I would've preferred a more stylized delivery .

I see what you mean with the color palette, I do like that it ended up this way tho. There is something cunty, camp and messed up about dark horror imagery in broad daylight, color and the urban setting.

Why I feel like we might get a second video or an another version of the video soon? Something like the Yoü & I Haus of ü series. There's so much potential.

I think the teaser was done in relation to Harlequin's era transition. Like after all that room shenanigans, its time to go out and see the real horror.

Scarier yes, but less intense for me, I don't know why. Could be the saturated colours giving off safe energy.

I think I missremembered. Because back then I do remember monsters listing the "betrayals", and among them, there were some characters from the "Yoü And I" that were supposedly missing. 

Maybe I remember the meltdowns when they were still missing, but forget to check when they were actually released . I think the bride was missing when people were still complaining .

I think it needs to looks "basic" in a way to represent the general public. She's on the world stage, which for a pop star includes suburbia, middle America, etc. judging her work and pitting it against itself.

She probably would, actually. Creative people tend to love seeing the audience engage with their work. 

I highly doubt she would take offence over a green filter, mimicking the aesthetic she herself used on the teasers .
