Everyone seems to magically forget people felt this way about BTW when it came out, both the song and the entire album. People said DJ White Shadow was an okay producer and a lot of BTW felt rushed, unfinished and not polished. He's a house music producer tho, so I think that he doesn't fit to LG7 vision. Seriously and look how highly regarded it is almost 14 years later. I remember DJWS got dragged on here for his production on several of those tracks and the same folks that criticized him for BTW now worship him for ARTPOP. I'm okay with BloodPop sitting this era out because I can't see his style meshing well with her style for this era. It's from "Innocent Rouge" the sequel of "Innocent" The girl's name is Marie Joseph Sanson, she actually is a historical character but we don't know a lot of things about her life. In this manga (based on a novel) the whole character's backstory was reimagined. She's a badass bi icon. His production on ARTPOP does sound entirely different to be fair it's surprising that it's the same producer in some ways, BTW is very busy and clashy but that's one of the things fans like and gives it a different vibe to her other albums. Pretty much this but I've also heard some disappointing things about him as a person. Idk what's public or not though so I won't get into specifics He's a jerk and his production is mid at best. Even if they don’t particularly like his work it’s embarrassing how the fans essentially bully him, and especially Sarah. Imagine collaborating with someone whose fans say some of the most horrible sht about you online…under your own posts. Chromatica, Perfect Illusion, Haus Labs, and Gaga’s looks are their own projects as well that they’ve put blood sweat and tears into.
