Why didn't the Harlequin merch get released?

Does anyone know why the Harlequin merch we got glimpses of, never got released? Or did I miss it's release somewhere?

I know they were given away at a screening, for example, but it's weird that they have her store's branding inside the tee. Normally promo t-shirts and stuff for events is just printed on generic labels.

They probably just realized the reception wasn't as positive as expected, and decided not to release them. I think they might give fans Harlequin merch or parafernalia, after the negative buzz around the film ends. 

I think this "era" will be seen in a more positive light, years from now. As of now, her team is probably focused on Disease and LG7

It wouldn't be uncommon. I think Shane Dawson had a lot of unreleased merch, that he decided not to put up for sale, when he got cancelled. He only released it years later, when people stopped caring about his cancellation. 

The Joker backlash was probably way bigger than anyone expected. It wouldn't be farfetched to believe they had merch produced, or planned, related to the film, but given its poor reception, they decided to not release a thing. They can always release it later on, when the hate goes down a bit.

Well Gaga isn't get cancelled, is she? So the example is a bit moot.

Joker 2 backlash will not make its merch stop being sold, if they were doing merch to begin with. There are worse movies with all kinds of merch that people display, wears or use unironically these days. 
Joker just doesn't do official merch since the first movie. You can't even find anything on Hot Topic. The ones you can get are fan made off etsy and red bubble.

but this is HQ merch for her fans, not Joker merch for the GP and this album came out before the movie
