I mean it's not really a Madonna comparison. It's just more about recognising the standard of Ray of Light. 
It's like saying an album is an artist's Thriller isn't comparing them to Michael Jackson directly. 

It's all about the entire mythos of that specific piece of work

All of my straight friends and younger people that I work with are always saying how they miss crazy Gaga. They always refer to songs from TFM & BTW. 
 

Sis better have a huge radio deal and promo to be releasing such a dark pop song this late in October. Which to me tells me she and her team do. Especially as this is her “return to form/major comeback” that the GP has even been craving for a while now. 
 

I think she is coming for blood and truly believe in her. We are bout to be fed!

I always bring up that I want to hear her "Ray of Light" and it's not about the sound. I don't want a similar sound. It's about the way that album stands alongside the other albums on Madonna's discography. Like "Renaissance" for me, it's Beyonce's Ray of Light, and "ANTi" is Rihanna's Ray of Light. Not similar sounding to each other at all, but the way they stand out. They feel more inspired.
