Do you think we'll get the album title by Friday?

Back when Stupid Love was announced thru a billboard sign, Chromatica was already included and it was speculated as the album title

 

until we basically got a confirmation at the end of the Stupid Love video

 

 

 

Do you think she'll do the same once Disease drops? Maybe some easter egg on the video or a separate announcement? or is it too early since the album is still months away

I want her too. But with the rumors of her wanting to elongate the era I think she may keep it under wraps til the 2nd single

I hope but I don't know that she will. On the bright side, it could help GP separate Disease from DWAS, JFAD, Harlequin, etc. but it could also be a bit too early in the process to announce the name. We'll see!

If she wants to elongate the era while keeping us fed, she could leave us some easter eggs.

An interactive scavenger hunt with the use of social media, or billboards,  or even leave the title out in the open on the Disease music video without confirming anything for a while. 

Over a span of weeks, she could reveal single letters of the album title in bold, dramatic fashion — present in social media puzzles, perhaps even tied to performances, public appearances, or outfits that feature only one letter, keeping us guessing the full name until the last reveal.

She's not Taylor Swift but the fact she teased Disease the way she already did, shows she's embracing a playful and cryptic style that Taylor uses. We haven't been fed like this in a long time, and I want those fancy spoons.

Stupid Love came out February 28th and we got the name of Chromatica when it was supposed to come out April 11th. So that was a little over one month wait between lead single and album. With LG7 the song is coming out October 25th and album in February, a much longer wait. I don't think we're getting the name yet, maybe in January or Feb around the time we get a 2nd single. I'd love if Gaga announces it on Christmas or New Years though, that was an epic moment during Born This Way.

My theory is that Taylor learned how to do all that from being a fan of Gaga.

I was thinking the same. I think she'll tease us, or give us easter eggs/clues about the album title until we figure it out or she announces it with the second single. I would honestly love that more than her just giving it to us because I've been loving this edging so far

I feel like she can pull off an easter egg type of marketing, it reminds me of the easter eggs in the Harlequin album cover.

 

And I think that's actually her approach for LG7.

The capitalization of her songs on streaming sites being changed, the .com playlist on Spotify that leads you to the gagadisease website revealing the Disease pre-save.

Maybe we'll get to see more of that until the release of the album

I think she'll hold off on revealing the album's title for a little while. I believe Disease will be its own thing and have its own era before we even have the title.

I feel like she will “indirectly” announce it.  Probably not anything as explicit as Chromatica, but planted somewhere in the video.

For example, imagine if 911 was the lead single and the end of the music video one of the posters/billboards we saw when she woke up had “Chromatica” on it.
