Notthebling 1,900
I don't remember the last time I've been so hyped about a Gaga project. I feels like she truly is bringing a vision to life with this new album. Everything has me puzzled and here are some thoughts : - I believe she was actually conceptualizing LG7 during the last tour. We had many discussions about this, none of what was brought to this tour fitted the asthetics of Chromatica. But with everything unfolding, it feels like it was a transition from one era to another. Album Title : - 1st thing she EVER said, acknowledging LG7 : Gaga RETURNS - Spelling of DISEASE backwards - She said she was excited to show us this new version, where she was at. She also said Micheal made her go BACK to her pop roots in a way she hadn't done before. - Could the album title be.. REVERSE? Concept : - She wears a dress made of white car parts at TCB premiere - White car on the cover of DISEASE - She ends TCB with a mechanical Claw (Chromatica is about healing. The end of the show is supposed to represent her healing being complete. So after the healing comes the part where she becomes super human, machine like?). This claw looks like it's shown on the TVs in the music video teaser. - The first interlude from TCB is an operation room. - The concrete from the "Museum of Brutality" = The font of DISEASE. Why concrete? A lab? A museum, to show your newest creation, the new machine you put together? - **REACH** but I have this feeling Frankensteined is VERY fitting for all this imagery and all these themes... DISEASE, Abracadabra, museum of brutality - Also the TVs. We're watching a movie, something that can't happen in real life. A horror-scifi movie, but this time it's about Gaga's life. All the TV imagery also leads me to believe it's referencing an actual show / movie ... Frankenstein - She also followed an artist (can't find his name) that has very much robots/mechanical sculptures. Once again, this is VERY fitting with all of the above So what I'm getting so far is, she created chromatica in order to heal, but afterwards, she was able to go BACK, and put all the pieces BACK to create a new version of GAGA. A 2.0 version, upgraded, mechanical, scary, unhuman. Anyone else sharing this vision? Edited October 22, 2024 by Notthebling Dat - doo - deet - doe. Dat - doo - deet - doe, dat - doo - deet - doe. TeaHaus 147
I don’t know why but I feel like she’s going to reference Tetsuo: The Iron Man for the video. The plot involved a hit and run accident and the driver then being taken over by a metallic infection. The film has HEAVY sexual themes and imagery. Allusions to disease or infection, the car accident, GaGa literally wearing car parts, and the television showing some sort of monster … IDK it could be possible ! 5 1
GerMonsterNotta 1,438
Yes - this was what I’m expecting here. Lots of introspect, lots of reflecting on the last and also lots of rediscovery and rebirth and re-engineering…..
Bronco 11,105
Honestly the main imagery of Chromatica always had this uber-industrial imagery sort of juxtaposed/painted over by the brighter colours of the era - the colour being a key example of this. Wouldn't be surprised if LG7 is a loose sister album in the sense of the colourful curtain being pulled back to expose the machines underneathe

Also she wore Selva and his entire collection was fragmented car parts covering the models bodies - ALOT like how the cyborgs in Tetsuo looked ! JUST SAYING !!!
