QueenChromatix 2,215 Posted October 23 Share Posted October 23 Joker already did around 192M (vers its 200M budget) at box office which makes it currently #17 highest-grossing movie of 2024 worldwide. I know it's way below of its initial box-office predicitions, but after all that negativity it received I consider this as a success. Also I want to share an opinion. I watched The Batman (2022) and whole Nolan's trilogy (Batman movies with C. Bale). While these movies were box office hits the concepts of all stories was as basic as it might get. You may say Joker Folie A Deux didn't meet the expectations, but the story itself was something different from all the DC Universe movies and focus on mental health issue is quite unique for these kind of movies. Kudos for that.
