Addison Rae 15,062
lol why should she make a statement? she got paid to do her damn job, nothing else is required from her. so tired of armchair experts using the bomb of the film to suggest her career is over because of one film flop sitting on his lap sipping diet pepsi

Its only a big deal to you because you are a Gaga fan. And how do you know Gaga doesnt like the movie? This. It's such a ridiculous idea. Imagine a journalist demanding Halle Bailey apologizes, because "The Little Mermaid" flopped, it is such an absurd concept . I'm not clicking on that woman's video anyways, I don't like her face, IDGAF . Whatever her opinions are, may god bless her soul. I think Gaga knows how to handle her career, she's the one making movies with 12 million paychecks, I don't think she needs advice from someone who makes videos on YouTube for a living, no hate, but let's be serious please . 4BLAiNE 950
Sorry, maybe I’m missing something, but what exactly makes this woman such a prominent voice in all of this? Is she another Fantano “famous because I’m famous” critic who we now are led to believe is an authority for no actual reason. Like what does she actually know? And why do any of us care? Head Empty 24,225
I'm sure Gaga is disappointed by the reception but knowing how her mindset has been recently, she'll probably be very graceful about the situation. Something about being grateful for the experience of playing Lee, how the movie was a bold choice and how not every piece of art always connects with the audience. Not all risks pay off. If she has any hard feelings towards Todd or Joaquin, I highly doubt she'll voice it publicly. Instead she'll quietly move on. Happiness will never last, darkness comes to kick your ass... ᵃˢˢ 🕺

You can see in the video that she's making up something that just popped up in her head.. but she has like a legion of followers who worships her I can smell your penis, I can cure you, DIE SIS

jackweller 294
I thought about Gaga’s next move, and I could see her turning to Bradley for her next role. And I’m not saying that they should star together or that he should direct, but he is also a successful producer. If I’m not mistaken all films he produced were well received and did well critically, awards-wise and at the box office. And if what Randolph said was true (I’m not saying she’s right, but if true) that Gaga may struggle to get cast because both HoG and Joker underperformed, Bradley could be the one to cast her and give her another successful film. We know that they are very close. Gaga supported him at the Maestro premiere. There’s trust. So really, even if what Randolph is saying turned out to be a load of bs, I could see that being Gaga’s next move. Because above all else there’s trust. Her last two films failed her. I feel like working with Bradley she wouldn’t have to worry about his creative choices. Yes, he’s Oscar-hungry, but he’s also a visionary. He knows what he’s doing, and it could be great for Gaga’s acting career. Edited October 11 by jackweller
LordByron28 858
Ultimately, I think people will look back at this film and say people were way too harsh, critical, and negative on it. There are a lot of deeper messages in the film. It will likely be her highest grossing film she is apart of and the film will get some Oscar nominations. I’m sorry but there’s been so many superhero films with awful dialogue that don’t follow the dc comics either such as Suicide Squad and the plot being paper thin. This one will be reflected on better over time and regardless her vocals and acting have been recognized. For future roles, I hope she pursues a few more lighthearted roles. The past four have been dark and heavy. I’d like to see her do some fantasy and action like roles as well as a lgbt rom-com type thing. I’d like to see her work with Tarantino, Burton, & Guillermo Del Tormo directed projects. I’m skeptical that it can work at this point but I would’ve loved to have seen her in Wednesday Season 2 as a teacher. The Adam’s family is iconic in pop culture, the show is popular with young kids, it’s fun but also fits with Gaga and is directed by Burton. In addition to contributing a song or two to the show. Outside of that, I don’t want all of her roles to be firmly rooted in her musical career. I think her doing a Bond film theme track would work well for her and be in-line with what she wants to accomplish but I’d like to see some more roles not relying on just her as a musician. I’d also really like to see her in a videogame movie, in particular a Nintendo film. In terms of Super Mario Bros, I think she would really suit Pauline. Who was the OG damsel in distress in Donkey Kong turned Mayor of NYC who sings Jazz songs and J-pop. Think Gaga would suit well into that role and could contribute some fun songs to the soundtrack that range from Jazz to J-pop and electro-pop inspired music referencing the New York inspired roots of her character, the Italian Mario bros, the J-pop inspiration from the country they were created in, and the electronic 8-bit/midi component from the iconic Mario songs throughout the franchises existence. Before she said that Gaga should soon release a statement and explain what went on BTS to save face, but as soon as she said that I knew Gaga would never do that because it’s not in her nature. She always takes pride in all her projects no matter the response and does not trash her collaborators even if she then has to pay the price. Also, she mentioned the Tarantino rumour so the news is spreading Am I insane?? This movie wasn’t bad. It was daring and unique and very moving.
