im just saying the movies flopping so its time for her to pivot and take time off from movies and do more music and tour.

But.. like, she is doing these things along her movies.. we just got a full record of here’s a week ago, we’re getting a completely original record in a few months with a single this month. She did a world tour 2 years ago and then was performing residential in Vegas. I see your point, but I think we’re totally fine right now with a new record every 2-3 years, if this is what works for her. I also would love to get new original high level music every other months and her performing in my backyard, but that’s just not the reality

The film is not good at all. The reviews are right, her acting is the highlight. But she is heavily underused.

The first movie already critiqued all the madness and spectacle of society in a sharp way. That is why it resonated with so many viewers in the first place. This time around the result is very weak.

Didn't she insist a few times on the fact that the movie is NOT a musical before it was released? Imo she knew the movie would get hate for being a musical, and she was just trying to sugarcoat the situation by saying it's actually not one...

Is it true that some Gaga scenes were purposefully cut out last minute?

The actors usually end up filming more scenes and some of them get cut out. It’s a normal thing. I don’t think Gaga was surprised by that at Venice, she probably knew what scenes got cut beforehand. 

I believe they expected a negative response to the musical thing, but hating on this film has become kinda viral, right? I don’t think they’ve expected this much “backlash”.Although Gaga must be disappointed, she’s probably more concerned and focused on the LG7 single that’s (hopefully still) coming

Mate, general public aren't obsessed with IMDB and rotten tomatoes. Only stans and film nerds care about that.

Also some big movies were slammed by rotten tomatoes, yet they still ended up being huge successes.

Why are you so fixated on the 33% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and what the critic reviews are saying? Their perceptions of this movie should not be influencing your own experience because by that logic you'll end up hating things more especially when you haven't seen them. Even all those bashing the film praised HER specifically as the film's saving grace. She didn't control the direction of this movie yet some people on here are acting like she firsthand wrote the script. If you enjoyed the movie why does it matter what other people think? If you didn't that's okay, but that means you got there on your own without the influence of someone else's opinions. This was the same thing with House of Gucci; she was fine then and she'll be fine now.

If anything I just hope they realize that the "perfect rollout" for an album doesn't exist...

With chromatica they were siting on a finished album for months waiting for the "perfect time" to release and suddenly a global pandemic

with LG7 they tried to release as close to Joker as possible and suddenly this happens

She should trust more on her music quality and release as soon as everything is ready
