And revisiting the album this morning, it's almost like Gaga was subtly alluding to being aware of how divisive this movie era might be... Reveal hidden contents "That's life (that's life) That's what all the people say You're riding high in April, shot down in May But I know I'm gonna change that tune When I'm back on top, back on top in June I said that's life (that's life) And as funny as it may seem Some people get their kicks Stomping on a dream But I don't let it, let it get me down 'Cause this fine old world, it keeps spinnin' around I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet A pawn and a king I've been up and down and over and out And I know one thing Each time I find myself Flat on my face I pick myself up and get Back in the race" So let's have a laugh together, because with every major flop comes a powerful return Ok clowns... feel free to post your optimistic take below!! I was thinking the same thing when listening to Harlequin this morning and That’s Life came on. 2

It's for bad acting, critics mostly agree that her acting is good but she's underused. Am I right ? It's possible that the movie will get nominated for Worst Picture and Director and the cast also gets nominations somehow. I think it would be disgraceful if she wins because she's genuinely good and is the film's highlight.

But the razzies like to have fun, and I'm sure there will be a "most awkward musical number in a film that isnt a musical but actually is" category 🙈

OliviaRodrigoStan 4,383
I mean, it is free promo for her . Most of the critics had nothing negative to say about her. And I saw videos TEARING the film to shreads, and she was still not negatively criticized. I think media wise she's on a good spot, with anime fans and gamers making viral edits with her music, a very positively received ballad with Bruno Mars, and a Jazz album that is doing fine for what it is. She's on a good spot, with a lot of eyes on her. As long as the song is catchy, the audience is there. HEART OF EVER-FROST
zerojk 4,820
I don't agree tbh she should've released LG7 months ago when the world was on the edge of their seats wanting darkGa back Right now the attention is unfortutely affected by the performance of JFAD If anything I just hope she moves on ASAP to LG7 mood so we can focus on this new era
StrawberryBlond 14,100
Also, Gaga is a singer first and foremost so the quality and success of her musical output will always be what she is judged on the most. A flop film won't matter as long as she's winning at music, which she already is and is on track to be even more so when the album promo trail begins. And there's a big chance she's going to be nominated for her acting and maybe even pick up an award or two. Even if it's not an Oscar, she will get noticed by ceremonies as she's cited at the best part of the movie. And it may inspire her to really learn from her experience and pick the perfect project in future. Her performance will not go unnoticed by other directors who will always feel she got short-changed here and want to cast her in a movie that will make her shine and win an Oscar. Oh, and Harlequin is up to 73 on Metacritic as clearly, some critics were waiting until the movie came out before rating it. It's a small bump in the road but it'll be happy days from here on out. I just want her to deliver her most creative music for the fans. And from what we heard from the snippets, I think we're about to receive that! I doubt Interscope didn't force at least one song to be commercial and sent to radio because they'd want the sales since they financed it. I hope Gaga feels so as well because she deserves some success after the failure of both Harlequin and the movie.
