r4therupbeat 1,587 Posted October 10 Share Posted October 10 saw it yesterday. everyone started moaning after the third song to the point that nobody could take any more singing even though they warned us at the entrance it is a musical. I thought her vocals would be bad (intentionally) but I was pleasantly surprised. Feedback I could hear in the end was that it was not as bad as the reviews say but that the singing was unbearable and non stop after half-way through the film. (Also necessary minus the court scene when he sings the joker?) I personally liked it. Probably less than HOG or on the same level considering the fake Italian accents. But hearing reports of people vocally moaning during the musical sequences and theaters having to warn ticket buyers it’s a musical… I have to laugh. Clearly people just actively don’t want to like it. It’s almost become a meme at this point. Like are people just going so they can make a fuss? Because I truly cannot think of a single movie I’ve gone too where I was audibly groaning hahaha… and I saw Cats! A lot of the people who are hating on the movie haven't even watched it lol the internet just decided to hate on this film and that won't change for now. I think when I went in knowing fully well what to get and with all the theories at the top of my head it wasn’t as lengthy.
