Ronk 14,486
I love this album. I think it's totally amazing and has great replay value. Gaga's singing is superb. She puts her own spin on jazz standards while staying faithful to the jazz style of each song, such as swing jazz. As a jazz fan, I can't decide if Gaga's greatest album imo is C2C or Harlequin. Four songs from the jazz age (1930s) and five songs from the 1950s-1960s round out the traditional jazz songs on the album. Amazing and thrilling, and I hope it catches on with the public and becomes a huge hit over time. I live outside the space time continuum.

chathonnete 420
It's great for a Jazz / Rock album !! However, the numbers are gonna get lower and lower I fear because not many people listen to jazz, it's not the best genre for streaming. Still a great debut for an alternative genre ! 1

Bronco 5,761
Surprised Close To You isn't higher given its probably the most popular cover song on there. Suppose its quite far down the listing

However, @Rat Boy continuously played Katy Perry’s 143 instead. When I politely asked him to switch to Rita Ora, he responded rudely and told me to “shut up.” This behavior was not only unprofessional but also quite upsetting. 4 hours ago, InTheCloset said: EXPLAIN YOURSELF @Rat Boy. Why was Joanne Trattoria not playing Harlequin? Stop the jealousy. It’s not my fault you can’t relate to 143 because you’re not sexy, confident, heaven sent or soft. Nessun Dorma 2,373
Honestly people who appreciate Gaga’s work only when she’s doing pop music lose so much! This album is amazingly beautiful, every single track is untouchable, there are no skips for me. I’m so grateful for this project, for having Gaga in my life and for being able to appreciate her art and talent in all forms! 2 1 9

When you look at the track by track breakdown and how many people gave up after the opening song, it is not promising. why would streaming figures of a side project accurately reflect if an album has replay value? especially in the age of streaming where the majority of casual listeners just playlist their favourite tracks rather than listen to whole records start to end? it's already pulled better numbers than a certain major hit maker's comeback easy listening pop record, which is quite the feat considering it's a jazz/rock/vintage pop companion album instead of a major commercial release mother, what must i do? 3
Killa 15,534
That seems good for such a specific album. I don't see It making splashes unless joker, Happy mistake or thats Life takes off. But thats Life from the movie seems tò be very different or more likely to attract listeners. Well having One Song with One million listeners Is enough tò help her maintain her Spotify monthly listeners. Lets see what happens with the movie Release. I honestly still see no primo for this movie

I can understand why some don't like the album. It's personal taste in music ... some don't like jazz. Gaga has always loved jazz, and here she is doing what she loves even if it means she takes a hit from those who don't care for jazz. Nowaday is streamming era. So please put your most focused tracks at the top!!! No! Some of you have no regard or appreciation for artistry and music it seems, all you care about is streaming numbers even on a jazz album. There is a reason why songs are placed in the order they are, enjoy and stop demanding stuff from her. Those songs are highlighted anyhow on all platforms so chill. 2
