rinasawachanta 2,665
Does anyone else have the impression that Folie à Deux might be a reworking of the original jazz song that Gaga had written around the time of Cheek 2 Cheek called ‘Paradise’? I know where we're going, know where we're going And it's a heaven An island for when we'll both settle in, a paradise 2
Jill 26,878
I find it so funny that from what we know Paradise was the only jazz song she wrote over a span of like 10 years lol This was an official message from the Office of the First Lady. 2

Mathieu44 9
I don’t know if it was ever mentioned but during the M&G at the ArtRave in Montreal she actually sang us Paradise for like 15 seconds backstage. I don’t remember any of it tho.

Schwerk 7,001
I think it is, at least that was my immediate thought when I first heard it. I hope she will record and release Captivated one day. It's one of my favorite songs by her, I consider it a jazz song so I kept hoping she'd include it in her live shows or on a Tony album someday. I guess she feels embarrassed about it a bit since she was so young when she wrote it. This also reminds me of the Love for sale documentary we were robbed of and it makes me 😠 According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
GagaTheExplorer 2,898
Not it is not, it is an original song originally written exclusively for Joker 2. Saying otherwise would make her uneligible for awards consideration so we as her fans need to silence this kind of comments

Don't you think that this is always the case?

Gaga wasn’t sampling a released song, and Paradise is her own writing even if it was from 10 years ago.

Plastic Flower 3,848
We will never know. I don't think her singing that word indicates anything. Drop it
