I love Christmas songs and it was always my dream that she would do a holiday album with Tony ;(

After Harlequin, I'm kinda warming up to the idea of a solo jazz record (not necessarily jazz, but covers of classic songs etc)

Honestly whatever the theme, any future Jazz album needs to bring more original songs into the mix.

Be more unique to Gaga and less Bette Middler sings the American songbook. I adore Bette, this isn't meant to be shade. 

But on the back of Folie à Deux, I want Gaga to give us more of her own waltzes & other Jazz numbers. She's done plenty of the jazz standards now.

I agree, they usually have a clutching at straws for relevancy vibe. BUT Gaga could pull it off I think. But maybe in like 15 years.

Gaga LOVES jazz and will continue to sing and release music in that genre. It has also greatly helped the critical acclaim of how well-rounded she is as an artist. So no, she should not 'hang it up'. But you are of course free to not listen to her jazz projects.

I think that regardless of the theme, it should be made up of original songs. All the "necessary" steps to prepare have already been done: a collaborative song with a legend, two joint albums, a solo album of covers (Harlequin)... I think she's ready.
