I love everything about this song so far, the visual, the vocal, and the instrument. Will put it on repeat for the rest of the year.

REALITY

I woke up, checked Twitter, and was immediately bombarded with clips and images of this

She sounds so good! She really changed a lot of the original song, so it makes me very excited to see how she reinterprets the other covers on the album! People like to complain that Harlequin is mostly covers, but listen, if they're just as good and inventive as this, then it might as well be all-new music

But also, to the people who are like "Told you guys it wasn't jazz!", maybe let's wait to see how the other songs are. I don't think anyone expected this album to be full-on jazz like C2C or L4S, but considering the themes and aesthetics of Joker, you'd be foolish if you didn't think jazz was an influence for this album. Regardless, from what we've heard so far, it all sounds great. I'm just so excited for this album!!

I like it, the only thing I don't 100% love is the emphasis she puts on her vocals.  It's very broadway musical-esque,  but then again, maybe this album is meant to be her "audition" of sorts, to spark interest with broadway producers.  In the way Joanne could be seen as a segway to ASIB

I think this is what she meant by saying she changed her voice to not sound as polished compared to LG. So knowing it’s most likely a conscious decision I can appreciate it and am now even more excited for Friday 🥰

This. Classical american songs rock and strings? I fear this álbum will be much GP appeal than the actual LG7 lmao and maybe, thats the strategic

kindest regards
