I wouldn't worry about most of it being covers. Knowing Gaga, she wouldn't make this album if it didn't have a reason to exist and the snippets we've heard so far are vastly different from traditional jazz arrangements.

Loving the artwork. I’m actually kind of glad that it’s not an album of pure original songs. It gives some time to breathe before we get LG7s lead, without comitting to promoting a full album. I’m excited to see what the sound and vibe is.

this. im kinda sure theyre covers, but hearing thats life from the last trailer i think she will cover but add some twists on it, and im here for it also i think is good she didt took much time to create music for this project so she had more time for lg7

Well if we assume that “moon dust” post on instagram contains a snippet from Close to You than yes, it will be wildly different, barely the same song

Guys the shower vest cover is a reference to the iconic shower scene in Alfred Hitchcock's PSYCHO. 

Folie a Deux literally means shared psychosis. So referencing the shower scene totally makee sense!

What is a companion album? It just looks like some Harley songs from the Joker 2 OST and then a few she probably wrote for the film that didn't make the cut?

it means this alboom is complimentary to the Joker sountrack. She sings songs that might be from the movie but are not included in the official OST, or she sings songs that gives off the vibes from the movie, in her own interpretation.

I mean, she also released the track lengths.. maybe someone wants to match these with the typical lengths of the original ones?
