Interesting how the name doesn't reveal if it's a 143 specific tour. But omg, 143 is also such a horrible name for an album, so I understand they want to move on from that asap.

I'm really curious to see how this tour will sell. Is Katy's catalogue strong enough to attract people to see her live (again)? Because apart from the horrible reviews, I think most people who follow music sort of passively aren't even aware she has a new album out. Blissful ignorance is what they call that.

As much as we clown 143 I think Katy has no problem with selling out arenas tbh.. her hits are huge enough to carry the tour despite 143 reception and I’m honestly surprised she didn’t want to try stadium tour cause I think she can fill up a cute limited stadium tour tbh

The name really opens it up to be a hits/nostalgia tour tbh.

But unless the marketing pushes that I think she's cooked. The rumour that she fought with the AFL over getting to perform multiple 143 songs at the upcoming final speaks volumes about how she thinks this era is going

Do you really? I have no idea but from a marketing standpoint it is definitely interesting how her team is acting like this era is going great.

If she promotes this tour like an ‘eras’ tour she can definitely sell out stadiums tbh albeit very limited, probably like half of CHROMATICA ball dates? but yeah if her team insists on pushing this tour with ‘143’ as the image then good luck cause from the AFL rumblings it’s not looking too good for miss katheryn.

I guess its better to do a short tour in arenas than just 10 dates in stadiums. She can fill arenas for sure and if not you can always cover those seats, that would be harder to hide in stadiums.

Dejare de quererte cuando un pintor sordo pinte el sonido de un pétalo al caer en el suelo de cristal de un castillo que no existe.

I was about to say "missed opportunity to name it Woman's World Tour (a pun of World Tour)" but now I see why

Right, it’s bcos everyone is living for 143 here in down under..

Sydney loves her, matter in fact she’ll be playing our AFL grand final lmao

But in the cultural sense, I just speak in future tense

she wanted to perform 2 new songs, and if they had any expectations for the setlist they should have told her earlier or put that in the contract also Robbie Williams was performing in 2022 and they had no problem with him adding his new song to his set.

Yeah but these kind of events are never good for performing multiple new songs, its pretty much common sense and is shown by every other act thats ever done this kind of brief show that its for hits.

You get at most 15 minutes at these kinds of places. 2 new songs is at least a 1/3rd of your slot if not more.

Like even at the Superbowl with the biggest names they still limit it to 1 new track IF there is one

I think she’s starting in Australia so that word of mouth about the show being good (if it’s good), carries ticket sales later on

I don’t think she can do arenas, let alone stadiums. Her Vegas residency didn’t do that well.
