tyler k 4,749
this album is fantastic, her vocals are the most crisp they've ever sounded, her versatility is on FULL DISPLAY, this is one of her most unique and creative projects and you can feel passion & joy in her voice. Happy Mistake is one of her best songs in years, full stop. Folie a Deux is absolutely gorgeous, play it at my wedding??? Her cover of Smile from the Global Citizen thingy has always been one of my favorites, finally getting a fully recorded version is just amazing. i wept listening to it this morning. absolutely loveeee That's Life, If my Friends Could See me Now, The Joker, & Get Happy. mmmy name ~isn't~ aliceee 1 2

Dtwmjb12 278
There's definitely is not my cup of tea. The album is okay. This will be an album for one of those old school diners. Tracks that I can tolerate are: Good Morning Get Happy When The Saints The Joker Gonna Build A Mountain To conclude my critique, I note that the musical composition of some of these songs is reminiscent of the zany soundtracks from Looney Tunes cartoons, particularly the high-energy chase sequences between legendary pairs like Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd or the Coyote and Roadrunner. And I prefer Michael Jackson's version of smile The Internet is a toilet

Decodekid 26,669
Gaga did an amazing job. For the little complainers I'd say the Jazz was approached way different than her previous Jazz cover albums, they are more playful, dynamic and theatrical. A big highlight for me was World On A String. The album felt like I was hearing a Gaga musical Long Live Gretchen 3 3 6

Gaga should go to broadway with this. 3 1
Decodekid 26,669
Also I'm a big fan of the male backing vocals in various tracks. I don't know if they are directly sampled from the original or newly recorded but they really enhance the production and the experience, excellent work and quality. I agree so heavily! I know that many of us have always said she should one do do some musicals (in more of a theatrical/broadway sense rather than ASIB style) and listening to this had solidified my thoughts. That voice is perfect for it! Time flies like the wind. Fruit flies like bananas.
