PrinceGaga 7,470 Posted September 26 Share Posted September 26 FINISHED Happy Mistake is absolutely gorgeous. The Joker is punchy and shows off her vocal range so well. The two standouts for sure!! I actually really enjoyed the album from start to finish but will come back to those two songs above the others I think. You can tell she was so happy making this music. I get that they wanted to release HM as the single since it is the original song but it's not gonna do anything. I am happy that she is inspired from the role though and wanted to release this. Reminds me a little bit of some of Billie and Taylor’s output. As well as singer-songwriter and 90’s alternative with the rasp in her voice. Think she should send The Joker to Rock stations. There are some other notable moments such as in ‘Close to you’ and ‘Folie A Deux’. Those songs fit the imagery the most and what I had in my head how the album would sound. Her vocals shine beautifully in a number of songs in a way we haven’t heard before but it largely sounds closer in vein to L4S and C2C. Really hope they push Happy Mistake and send it to Radio it feels like something that could resonate with Pop, HAC, AC, & Alternative radio stations. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I love it so much, it's so fun and makes me want to dance! I'm so hyped for the movie, as I know there will be a lot of that music spirit all around. The Joker is clearly the best song, as many people said. I like Happy Mistake but I'm not as enthusiastic about it as everyone. All the songs are growing on me little by little.
