This album is a collection of songs that all our parents were dancing to when they fell in love. We wanted ARTPOP's little sister and instead we got Joanne's and Love For Sale's older sister. This album… is so unique. Varied. Beautiful. Exciting. Takes twists and turns. Her voice is YET AGAIN shockingly great and taking us to new places. It’s jazz, but barely. It’s so much more NEW for her. Soul, motown, haunting ballads, hard rock, some synths. This project is incredible if you forget/ignore that these are all covers (like idek any of the originals) This is so good. Gaga wow. A real treat.
