well she's been posting at 7pm GMT roughly every day, so maybe 5 hours 30 minutes approximately for another post at least

I think potentially it could be a duality thing:

Lady: LG6.5 

Gaga: LG7

she’s been talking a lot about how ‘she’s not Gaga or Stefani, but both, at the same time’

I think she’s exploring this further with these two projects

If this is the "special project" she's been referring to since last year, then LG6.5 has been in the works for a long time, maybe even longer than LG7. I don't understand why people think this'll push back LG7. It's not like she recorded these things in the last month and spontaneously decided to create an album. This has been in the works for a long time, so she obviously thought of a way to plan this all out.

I don't think LG6.5 will have a big era. It's a project she intends to release along with the movie as a treat for fans. I don't see her pushing it at all besides giving a few interviews and maybe doing a few photoshoots—which will be roped into the Joker promo anyway. She could still release this and do promo for LG7. Besides, LG7 doesn't come out until February. We're only getting the first single in October.

Ok fair. If she has been working on it that long as the “special project” then this is just an extra surprise. I’m just too damn impatient for LG7, this felt like an interruption, but I’m sure I’ll love whatever 6.5 is.

From a marketing perspective it's also GREAT timing. Her monthly listeners are on an all time high, it is just clever to take full advantage of the attention she's getting thanks to DWAS and the movie and keep it going until LG7, specially in the short-attention-span era of streaming.

I didn’t say anything about when I thought she recorded it, I was just having a reaction  the timing of release. We’re supposedly just weeks away from the release of LG7’s first single and suddenly there’s a new project announced. But it’s all good. More stuff the better.
