Also I wasnt gonna say anything but since i was tagged, i do find the title slightly misleading. He didnt exactly call for her assassanation...

 

To me that sounds more like right wing frustration that Trump got death threats (probably from the left in his mind) but none of the conservatives tried to kill Kamala or Biden

 

Like to me it sounds more like an assertion of something to make a point (regardless of how wrong it may be) than it does him actually calling for an assassination

 

In fact to me it seems rather obvious but jumping to conclusions is more fun cuz its more dramatic and it gives ppl an oppurtunity to hate on elon

 

This is why i hate how polarized politics has become. No one tries to actually be objective.

Disagree. I don't see it as a huge stretch. Musk cannot openly call for assassination attempts on Biden or Harris, but he can make that call in a coded way, and that is ARGUABLY what he has done here.

So ...  I would say that it is a stretch to say that he called for assassination attempts, but not a huge stretch. There IS a huge stretch in play here imo, and that is Musk's decision that it was acceptable to tweet what he did.

I guess thats my issue exactly. U have to choose to make that interpretation as there is no way to know that sending that code is really what he was trying to say cuz this could also mean other stuff...
