Am I the only one who thinks they're actually doing great job promoting this collab. I honestly don't understand the full essays acting like nothing has been done for DWAS promotion.

It's got a ton of playlists on streaming and tiktok what more you want? A televised performance on Seth Meyers? Spammed on radio 24/7 till people start to h8 it ?:huntyga:

sometimes, the promo is made by the love people give to the song, it's a smash hit without a promo and this is what interscoop wanted, less job, but big success.

It's laziness at it's finestt and we're so here for it to happen for LG7

I dont have a problem with a song managing to do well with minimal promo. I mean better if it managed on its own

 

Im just saying. They make it sound like they did a bunch of promo for this song when it appears they did almost nothing

Uploaded official performance on youtube? VMAs? Radio deal? Ads?

 

Pick any of the above and more. They dont have to do all of them but do something other than a couple playlists if ur gonna say this was album level rollout :selena:

 

Like yeah they did playlists which is better than nothing but this interview makes it seem like so much grandiose promo was done for it when in fact its been super minimal :madge:

I heard it on the radio quite some times in Italy, but I agree with the lack of televised/visual promo, which was one of Gaga's best moves

reading back on this article is funny because  it basically just reads like a bunch of executives patting each other on the back for what was quite literally an organic success fully fuelled by the talent of Gaga and bruno exclusively  :huntyga:

 

the playlist push didn’t even properly happen until week 2 when it became clear the song was gonna get big

Nothing remarkable, really... I read all that and I'm left with a feeling I wasted my time and still don't know what they actually did :enigma:

The man is avoiding answering simple questions, somehow like Trump during the debate. Besides doing out-of-home ads (which is a standard?) and getting them to perform together (which is still more Gaga/Bruno hard work?) they did what? Playlists, calls and emails (another standards)?

If this is what we're getting for LG7 promo campaign, we're fukced :saladga:

THIS! Like nothing they've done is extraordinary. If anything, I don't feel like they've done enough or that much. I understand there was a lot of coordination between two labels, but that's more the logistics, rather than the actual strategy itself that is commendable. I think they really need to visit their old school tactics and relook at what a lead single / album launch in 2024-25 should look like - for Gaga - a legend.
