You guys! I stumble on this snippet every couple of years and I always notice the production on this snippet sounds sooo much cleaner and so much better than what is on the album. Am I crazy? Like the quality is so much better!

They did not master this albums correctly. You can hear Sexxx Dreams’ drums way better in the demo and it’s a crime

I do actually like how the vocals in the chorus are more basic

but i think as Gaga fans we have a toxic trait of thinking any variant is better than the album version when it's kind of not

I might be the only fan to exist that prefers the studio version over the demo. 

Almost sound identical tbh.

I think it's because of all the eccentricities and goofy little details in the demos and early live versions that make them enjoyable/lovable whereas album versions feel more streamlined and (sometimes overly) polished for mass appeal.

Yeah and demos usually sound more raw and are fun to hear as alternate

but if the demos that are loved in the fanbase were actually on the album sounding like that then i bet they would be criticised soo hard

I truly think they kept on mixing the songs up until the deadline BY THE MINUTE. 

But also wild to think the gap between BTW and ARTPOP was so short considering Gaga toured, went under surgery and had her recovery phase all before a total image change from BTW  to ARTPOP

Me too!! It was part of the reason why I hope that Gaga adds Dubstep influences in her future songs
