Listening to the album yesterday I had the exact same thought. It makes no sense it exists among the other songs, let alone that it was a single

You & I is one of my favorite songs period. Such strong, bold choices sonically. The video as well. After Telephone, it's probably my favorite Gaga video. I literally cannot sing the graces highly enough about this song, the video, the era & fashion, etc. Especially after TEOG's whiff of a video.

Yoü and I, one of my fave Gaga songs even though I didn’t care for it back in 2011, used to skip it  but I just love her voice and the instrumental and grisly vocals, and the video is fab as well  

DWAS is also great, cannot fault her or Bruno, I just adore y&I

DWAS for me, a stronger song and single. I skipped YÜYI a lot, although the dodferent cities/state variant were cute, and I've saved my city version too. It should have the Brian May guitar solo like the live version at VMA, it would make it more alive. 

YÜYI music videos is nice but I didn't like the fact that vulture, Taylor Kinney, was in it.

You & I 100%. Back when she released the album I didn't like it but when she released You & I as a single I fell in love with the song and gave another chance to the album, which became my favorite album of all time

I choose Yoü And I because of my memories attached to it but DWAS has way better production without a doubt
