Didn't know Capitol was over Katy. The Doechii feature makes sense then. It was probably initially arranged to give Doechii exposure but following reactions from the public, Capitol prob wants to just let the song be an album track to protect Doechii.

Same but she planted the seeds for it to happen... People (well, on Twitter) were truly hyped for her comeback but her working with Dr Luke really ruined it all.

She should've tried another producer and most of all she needed to reinvent herself and change her sound, people have been telling this for YEARS, I'm sure she herself knows, and she did the exact opposite

Maybe the best thing that will come out of this is that artists will actually stop working with Dr Luke because clearly pop music fans are not tolerating an association with him anymore. 

Also, it’s really hard to imagine that they’re going to go through with the Vanguard award with all this happening. There’s a very real chance she will get booed by the live audience. 😬
