Oh well, just when I started regretting not getting tickets for the Paris show... I'll happily see her at a bigger venue in a few months, I don't think I'll actually ever be able to attend a concert at the Bataclan.

Really odd decision considering the VMA’s are a full week before the cancelled dates. Couldn’t they just continue to set up and move the stage in Europe while her and her band fly back to the US? She literally has 7 days to get back to Paris after doing VMAs

It is very unprofessional. Her team isn't incompetent though this is pretty standard music industry tactics - if something is bigger, it's better so drop everything else is Music Industry 101. 

Chappell Roan isn't even top 20 on the French charts - Good Luck, Babe! is #62, up from #67 last week. Dua Lipa's Training Season is higher at #51 lol None of her other songs have charted yet in France. Her album peaked at #124. 

So her team have seen the numbers and figured it's better to take a promo slot in the US where she's doing better and continue pushing her vs having her perform in France. Her numbers are better in the Netherlands, but it's a small music market compared to the US which will have definitely factored in.
