I went into the movie with the idea its nothing like the first movie, and I really didn't see the issues the critics have spoiler: Spoiler I think the musical aspect of the movie really portrays the psychosises well, as I've observed them with a family member. southpaw773 3,661 Posted October 9, 2024 Share Posted October 9, 2024 my friend and I were the only ones at the 8pm showing tonight in Downtown Seattle of Joker until just before the previews ended. A few random folks came in but the theater was the emptiest I’ve seen, even for a Tuesday. anyhow I never saw Joker 1 and had low expectations. I enjoyed it but it was a wee bit long with some cheesy lines that referred to a song that was coming. But overall I didn’t think it was as bad as reviewers and internet armchair critics are saying. I’d give it 3 stars. Wish there was more of our girl though. But she is certainly not in it enough to have influenced the movie one way or another but I liked her in it.
