Jarvin 1,299
I guess as a super stan it is more so about personal experiences rather than the music. The cathartic experience of Gaga singing shallow at CBT after my recovery from addiction was such an experience. The mental health aspect makes Chromatica number one for me. I’m currently of for another treatment for a couple weeks, having just graduated from university . I want to start a new life after rehab with my diploma, family and friends. I hope LG7 will bring me the power that I need to push it through!!

BELLYACHE 915
5 hours ago, Agunimon said: I have an indecisive opinion on ARTPOP as a whole on where I rank it and my overall opinion of it, but at the end of the day I have two immediate skips (Donatella, Mary Jane Holland) that have mostly been that way since it dropped, though I do like the production and some of the delivery in lyrics on MJH. Chromatica has only one (Sour Candy) for me. So I vote for Chromatica. 5 hours ago, Agunimon said: yes I actually really like that song lmao I’m not gonna say anything
BELLYACHE 915
ARTPOP has MJH GUY Xdreams and AURA so… (wish I could take Alice and put it on ARTPOP tho lol) Edited August 23 by BELLYACHE

Starmie25 12,560
ARTPOP because its just a little more bonkers sonically and lyrically, but Chromatica does contain two of my favourite Gengar songs to date
Nessun Dorma 2,260
5 hours ago, Cameltoe Chariot said: Chromatica is a measured and meticulous exploration of Gaga's mental health crises, full of hard truths and confessions. ARTPOP is a chaotic cry for help with high highs and some of her lowest lows, full of metaphors and avoidance of saying anything with her chest. Compare Swine to Replay. Both talk about her SA experiences and the man who hurt her, but from very different approaches. They're sister albums as far as I'm concerned, and are both anchors in her incredible career. I prefer the honesty of Chromatica, but the chaos of ARTPOP was a necessary step in her artistic expression and I'll always love it for that. You nailed with your analysis, it all makes so much sense! And I think the avoidance of saying anything with her chest would be 100% true if it wasn’t for Dope. I find it one of the most intimate lyrics Gaga’s ever written. 1 1
Blackout19 10,384
Chromatica, of course Vino cu noi în bucătărie, adu cu tine și o farfurie.
KubaM316 13,531
I mean, both of them are in my top 3 favorite Gaga albums ever. However there's only one of them in my top 2... and it's ARTPOP
Economy 46,716
Chromatica Sorry I know ARTPOP in recent years has found a new level of appreciation in the fan base but its still one one of her weaker albums for me (of her main albums excluding side projects) While I do like most songs (there isnt any Gaga album I outright dont like)... its the only Gaga album that doesnt have any track I love a lot or was ever obssessed with Most songs on it for me are just pretty good but not amazing. Applause and ARTPOP are the 2 closest to songs I love but even then Id classify them as songs I merely like My fav Gaga songs that to me are absolute classics are: Just Dance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, Bad Romance, Alejandro, Monster, Dance In The Dark, So Happy I Could Die, Judas, Marry The Night, Scheibe, Government Hooker, Dancin In Circles, Grigio Girls, Rain On Me, Replay, Enigma, Shallow, Ill Never Love Again ARTPOP has none on my list 1
queefarazzi 202
Gaga was right when she said ARTPOP was immature. People say ARTPOP was ahead of its time but it's honestly of its time, perhaps a little late as the EDM trend started to kick off around 2011. I only ever find myself going back to Applause. Poltergeist 3,273
ARTPOP, and it's not even a choice for me. It's my favourite album not only by Gaga, but of all time. Chromatica didn't age too well for me, idc about half of the album, but SFA is in my top 2 of all her songs. I've been getting messages from my deep waters
Valentyn 23
If vocally - i choose Chromatica, if productionally - i choose ARTPOP. Both are good, stop comparing please.
