I think Interscope is gonna pull Disease off radio soon because something is going on. My local radio station hasn't played Disease since Wed. They used to spin it several times a day... and now poof.

Biggest Polish Radio Station has pulled DWAS out as well (they never played Disease :huntyga:)

Well this plus the fact it was steady for weeks in TTH at #35 /36 then completely dropped out this week. Most Live Requested didn't played Disease last week while they did 2 or 3 times every week. It's just weird. Something happened in the last week.

Sounds like they're gearing up for single 2!

True. Nom for Record of the Year should have happened. Positively thinking, it felt like they didnt include DWAS there bec the song will sweep wins on all noms where it is nominated.. Other songs like BOAF deserve big wins too, which i feel will win Record. So to spread the wins, less noms were given to DWAS :lolga: but thats just my hunch. I also think that they should be nominated for Best Music Video

My hunch is that because of the rules in Pop Duo, an artist cannot be nominated twice in that category, and since Post Malone submitted both his collab with Beyonce and Taylor, Fortnight could not be nominated in Pop Duo or Levi’s jeans vice versa. The Grammys chose to include Levi’s jeans in Pop Duo to rack up more Beyonce noms (plus its a weak category this year), and in order to “give Taylor a consolation price” they nominated Fortnight in Record of The Year. Basically Fortnight took DWAS spot, since DWAS was also one of the “newest” releases. Its an overwhelming amount of people and experts who do not agree with Fortnight being there

Now that we have #1 on lock for next week, is it too early to discuss a potential 2nd week at #1? :trollga: both Gaga’s and Bruno longest solo hits were 6 weeks, Born This Way (her longest #1 so far) and Locked Out of Heaven, would be nice if DWAS breaks the tie, Bruno’s longest #1 week on the chart is Uptown Funk though, but I think that’s nearly impossible because it has a whopping 14 weeks at the top 💀 anyways, I’m happy DWAS is getting the #1 it deserves

A second week at #1 is not impossible but breaking the 6 week record is nearly impossible

DWAS took a long time to reach peak and there are some fast ascenders like Gracie Abrams new song

Being realistic i think 2 or maximum 3 weeks is the most realistically

But im happy with that tbh. We got our #1 and thats the main thing.

Im more stressed about my Country. This week is arguably the last chance and it looks like a Bar Song will block it again :saladga:

Canadas charts also count radio where ABS is way ahead and the streams gap in favour of DWAS is not as significant as it is in the USA so it will probably peak at #2 :/

Keep in mind that DWAS (Live) could be nominated at the Grammys 2026. This category accepts versions of songs previously nominated. It couldn't be nominated again for SOTY since the lyrics are the same, but a live version it's eligible for Pop Duo and ROTY again. It's unusual, but not impossible, considering the snub this year and the fact that DWAS will still be as massive in 2025 as it was in 2024.

Spotify WEEKLY unfiltered streams comparison for DISEASE.

week 8: 91,151,083 (+6,856,725)
week 9: 97,167,877 (+6,016,794) - down for Christmas week
week 10: 103,333,246 (+6,165,369) - up, maybe New Year's effect

It never went below 6M weekly streams on its first 10 weeks.

"week 11" will be the first week without TTH. Let's hope the daily streams won't go down below 800k on Mondays, it will probably go down Sat & Sun.

Keep streaming this banger.

Guys this is the FIRST FRIDAY update that Disease is BELOW 900k. Fridays are usually higher than the previous day/thursday. This is the first friday without TTH btw.

Keep streaming the song.

Lmao, the way TTH had no impact on Disease anymore... :laughga:

Now we know why it was removed

I can confirm to you that this is the first Friday that Disease went below 900k. Altho we can assume the decrease is from the song being older every week. Let's keep streaming this LG7 banger. I'll be happy with 800k updates actually.

previous FRIDAYs:

Day 50: +1,036,213
Day 57: +1,014,882
Day 64: +903,346
Day 71: +860,279 (first friday with NO TTH)

But yeah zero impact on Disease, it’s 100% a single carried by fans ahead of album release

This is the first Friday Disease went below 900k, i wouldn't claim TTH had ZERO impact just by that fact.

Totally. As long at we can say "Hot 100 #1", I'll be more than thrilled. Then she can get her seventh #1 with the third LG7 single in a few weeks!

Tbh, 3 weeks at #1 don't sound bad at all... Maybe this week and next one, and then the third would be hopefully after the Grammys. I hope another song shines when LG7 is released.
