Where right after Xmas, Interscope decided to push Disease with radio deals and physical released and after a TV performance, it would rise everywhere and reach #2 on the Hot 100, blocked by DWAS

I think Disease will do much better then Stupid Love in the long run. I know it is not maybe radio friendly but people who likes heavier pop like this love Disease and for the fans, it is like one of the best Gaga lead singles  Label is smart not to do promo right now because everything is about Christmas. I think after New Year, with a second single hype annoucement and hopefully some performances, Disease will be more stable in streams and maybe it will grow a little!

I think it reached #15 in the first week with the radio deal.

So all the growth till now was organic and, unlike her last two Leads, it was not rejected by radio stations and continues to grow!

It got there about 2/3 weeks ago (someone correct me if I’m wrong) after the initial rolling effect and then got overtaken by a few radio spammed songs and dropped a bit

This is the biggest factor. On radio support alone it’s going to outlast PI on the Hot 100 (bar another album bomb)

If something happens on social media we have a good hit on our hands

I kinda feel like Zombified will be more digestible for the GP, but still very Gaga. I may be wrong but this one could be next single. If it ends up being that Frankensteined song reworked, it could smash, I remember people from industry said it was such a strong catchy song back in the day. So who knows ?

But I'm 100% sure she has some more easy songs than Disease anyway (this one was a slap in the face tbh, in the very good way, but maybe not in a commercial way)
