Its a total, right? So lets say whatever song was played 100 times (+100). And the AI is 13.728 that means every time it was played on average it had 1,372,800 active listeners?

Well it’s not a lead single for neither of them. And labels knew radio had to play it because it will smash.

Gaga will have a radio deal for her lead 100%. So we will have huge numbers for the first week.

Based on what I've read online, Ariana Grande songs 7 Rings and Thank U Next were on "Power Rotation" and were played 15-18x in a day by 1 radio station on a certain week in 2018/2019. I cant find much online about the specific distinction.

If someone could educate me here about this I would appreciate it. 

I know in Canada in some cases there is once an hour (24 times a day) which DWAS got on a pop radio station (but only on release day) and it was ironically the same station that gave it a bad review 🤣

It’s the Audience Impression the song gets in a week, in the last 7 days. There is a rolling effect every single day after a song was released more than a week ago. It means 13 million listeners in the US were reached through pop radios with that 6000 spins.

I’m here since ARTPOP, I followed a lot of singles haha

and there is no way a lead single from a major artist like Gaga doesn’t get a radio deal for the first week. Even Katy got a radio deal for WW

We better don’t get any meltdowns when the lead comes and it does not slay the radio. 
 

Pop radio is very ageist towards women. It may happen that Gaga never again gets a #1 on radio. Even Rain on Me with the help of Ariana didn’t smash on radio, it was lower top 10 on Pop. 
Shallow didn’t smash Pop radio. 
The last single that did extremely well on pop radio was Applause. 
 

Million Reasons went months without any significant radio play, I remember all the 0.1M updates and it had like 10M audience, only after Super Bowl is had some support

Katy got a radio deal? I'm shook. The song debuted at the bottom half of the Hot 100

Well, Stupid Love was kinda a hit, cute little hit. Didnt it bounce around the Top 30 on the Hot 100 for 3 months. Like 5 to 30 to 20 to 25 and so on...

I believe that one or two songs will be well received from pop stations, but we have to be objective on this topic. Gaga in the future will be sidelined on pop stations. And there’s nothing we can do about that.

It is. But sadly in the US, Radio is still important to get #1s, especially if its not going #1 on the first week. Plus for longevity too. Shaboozey stayed #1 on the charts for 9 weeks mostly because of radio support which is sad.

In my country's Billboard 100, we only count streams from Spotify, Apple Music and Shazam and Itunes Digital Downloads. No radio whatsoever.
