But the reality is, DWAS and Disease are both still stable/growing on Radio and streaming, and both accomplish the “diverse” marketing strategy - 1 with a GP sound, 1 with a more classic / dark Gaga vibe. There’s no way (or at least no guarantee) there is a “GP” friendly song on the album that could reach 68M AI and get ~10M/daily Spotify streams each day like DWAS, or a classic song that could reach 14M AI and ~800k/daily before the album. Radio and streaming platforms are not just going to have 4 Gaga songs heavily play listed at the same time. It’s not exciting for us, but there’s no benefit to releasing a new single until the week of / 1 week before, when the initial hype can be immediately transferred to the album.
