JustJames 1,061 Posted December 21, 2024 Share Posted December 21, 2024 I mean, sure, SZA is likely to get a ton of tracks into the top 10-20 this week, but the top song would need to like double the performance of “APT.” on streaming its 2nd week to even compete with DWAS because of the Radio gap. It’s not like DWAS is #1 on Spotify global with like 2M streams, it’s still pulling monstrous numbers in addition to its strong Radio points. At this point, I’ve accepted #2 will be its peak so I can be pleasantly surprised, but constantly posting that some new release is a major threat is just illogical. What was the % drop on Spotify for her top SOS songs between week 1 and 2 of release? That + no Radio = not an issue worth posting about every single day until something (massive Radio deal, surge in streams on Day 8 because of a viral trend, etc.) indicates otherwise.
