A mess her team hasn't pushed more Disease on Spotify with some kind of autoplay because critcs, fans and radios were so warm on this song

Hopefully it'll materialize into strong numbers on next single and album.

Disease debuted at the bottom of the radio callout list at #43 last month. Callouts "are a form of consumer research that routinely measures your target audience's opinions on the new, current, and recurrent titles you are playing." This means the song is getting positive reactions and radio will be more inclined to play it.

The way we've risen from 43 to 27 in a month is VERY good for the song's future on pop radio.

Dyall think in the NY she should drop single 2 with hard promo or carry on with disease and Single 2 a week before the album like chromatica?

I saw on twitter from someone that’s pretty reliable (they posted about her filming Wednesday the week before it was rumoured) that they’ve got something big promo wise lined up

I just realized something interesting. LG7 will be the first pop album she’s promoted since 2016/2017. (We all know what happened to Chromatica’s promo plans.) That’s why I think they’re still kinda finding their footing in this new streaming age. With how well old Gaga songs have done on TikTok, I’m sure they hoped Gaga spamming Disease on TikTok would be more effective than it has been. Hopefully they recalibrate in the new year and go back to the basics in terms of promo—multiple live performances. Gaga’s live performances have always sold her music.

I've always thought JD has been overrated, so whenever DWAS surpasses it's gonna be a perfect top5 :vegas:

DWAS will surpass JD before 2024 ends for sure if it has a stable 9m streams daily. And if it continues to have 9-10m daily up till Feb 1st, it will eventually become Gaga's 2nd most streamed songs on spotify surpassing Bad Romance, ARUTW, and Poker Face :vegas:

Totally agree, but it seems they ( Interscope) moved on.
Disease had enough promo for the GP to  catch on it.
Huge playlists on Spotify, MV, millions of views on social media posts.

DWAS didn’t have a lot of promo either in the beginning and yet it slayed from the first day.
Sadly the GP is not that amazed by Disease.

Tbh DWAS had an underwhelming debut and took off when clips from the performances and her one TikTok went viral. Disease has also had a much better early reception on pop radio. And also having the playlisting doesn’t do nearly the impact that it used to for some reason

In my opinion the moves for this song are a physical release paired with a live performance after NY with choreo and hope it goes viral

The only thing Disease needed is autoplay. That's how you make strong hit on Spotify. Bruno Mars is the king of it, and it shows on DWAS success tbh. But I doubt they'll do now. I feel like they moved on from Disease.

I kinda wish her to stay quiet on December, there's nothing to win from this month anyway. Let her see being back with a Copacabana show big announcement and hopefully announcing the album pre-orders right after, first week 2025.

I posted my idea for a LG7 rollout last week (?) and said it could be a good relaunch (at least a repeak) if she announces the album and pre-order on Christmas Day (or NYE ala BTW) alongside a pre-order for Disease physicals with a shipping date the first full week of January. Theoretically people could use their Target, Walmart, etc. gift cards to pre-order the album and Disease would get some buzz!
