Most holidays people listen less music and I think GP is listening more Christmas songs instead of hits. DWAS still held up quite well in the US yesterday (only decreased by 60k streams and rose 4 positions), but I don't expect much from Gaga's catalog overall.

Without Christmas songs on the chart, Disease would only be #34 however due to the festive season, Wicked fanfare and Kendrick drop, Disease has left the top 40. This makes it one of her shortest top 40 runs with 4 weeks (3 more than perfect illusion). Least it peaked top 10.  …I hope when the following singles and album drop in early 2025, that it’ll fare longevity in the top 100. 

Without Xmas songs or wicked songs or Kendrick songs, DWAS would also be top 20 still!!!!

It’s great they actually had it in heavy rotation for a couple of weeks since they’ve done her pretty dirty since Applause, but it’s frustrating to see them still basically abandon it.

It’s too bad neither of the Antidote/Poison versions had a softer vibe to them. MR, Shallow, SL, ROM, HMH, and BM all were more successful on HAC/AC than Pop and it seems Disease is going to stall out with a smaller AI peak because it’s relying so heavily on Pop. If it had solid Airplay on those formats, it may have been able to rebound on the Hot 100 in January with ~30-35M AI and physicals.

DWAS gets its 11th week at the top of the Dutch Top 40!

Gaga has now the most weeks at #1 ever by a female American artist, surpassing Madonna. The only female above Gaga now is Adele!

The achievement on Spotify coming before the end of 2024 :

- Judas passing BTW (song) as the most streamed song from BTW album.

- Bloody Mary crossing 600M streams.

- Poker Face crossing 1.5 billion streams.

- Die With a Smile being in her top 3 of her most streamed songs on Spotify.

- Disease hopefully passing 100M streams.

- Telephone crossing 800M streams (or being VERY close)

do we know total uk units for disease? i hope we reach at least silver certifcation (200k+)
