Tbh I just think like us they perfectly know Disease won't go anywhere in charts. She tried hard getting trend on TikTok, it just don't click. Not the song is bad because it has rave reviews and fans loves it. But question of timing, DWAS being their thing, and some crap happening with her other latest projects.

I'm 100% certain they will go back to LG7 once New Year is passed. It screams Yes And ? / We Can't Be Friends situation imo. The fact she booked Coachella and Copacabana is a very good sign that she has big plans for LG7 tbh

Interscope has been bad to Gaga since ARTPOP didn’t match their expectations. But Gaga also has been bad to herself too, so there’s nothing we can do, really.

They’re like “if it sticks, it sticks. If it doesn’t smash instantly, we’ll let it rot”. There was a semi exception for MR but that was Gaga moving, not Interscope. I wouldn’t be surprised if SHE was the one who told them not to care.

That’s dumb though (not you, but Interscope/Gaga’s team). A song needs promotion if it doesn’t stick. If it smashes instantly, the song needs no help.

Agree but I feel like they are just keeping the money and promo spot for what's next in 2025 to make it big. At least I hope 

Still think they should have started LG7 era in Q1 2025. But yeah fans would have destroyed them for another delay.

I 100% agree with the second part. Q1 2025 was better, but the fans would have destroyed them, so mayyyybe they threw us a bone (Disease) so that we could wait.

I do hope they have more in stores for 2025 and the 2nd single, but I’m not too confident since it looks like the sound will target the fans more than the GP.

Anyway, I would rather have an album full of Diseases that flops than a GP-friendly record that succeeds (by far). Disease is perfect.  But DAAAMN it deserves so much more.
