Shaboozey has dropped a lot on streaming and is still no.1 so as long as DWAS keeps gaining on radio and stays fairly consistent on streaming it might be able to grab #1 in January.

The reason Disease didn't happen isn't for the lack of a label push. She's doing the right amount of promo an artist over 15 years into her career should do. Again, people are expecting a BTW kinda rollout and it's never ever happening again.

Delaying an album because there's too much competition around would imply she's not confident enough in her own work. I'd like to believe the days of Gaga madly obsessing over charts are long gone and she's focusing all her energy in her music/performing instead. It would be concerning otherwise.

Being blocked by Kendrick or Adele in the first week isn't the end of the world. In the first half of 2024 all the main pop girls released albums and singles within weeks of each other. Everybody shined. If you release a strong body of work everything will fall into place eventually. 

LG7 should do around 90k-130k without a hit. And before anyone mentions Joanne, Billboard removed bundles from consideration in 2020.

Yup, yup. Disease aint slaying the charts but we had a release with no physicals which wouldve pushed it to Top 15 easy but everyone is praising it but if being mid-chart positions comes with acclaim then Id rather get the acclaim. And I dont know what it is, but I feel confident about this album.

IMO, a Lorde's Melodrama type of situation would be fantastic.

Its not so much about the perfect moment, its about a moment.

February is looking stacked with events and releases that can overshadow Gaga. And I know that music speaks for itself, but honestly in today's fast moving consumerism which has translated into the music industry - you really need to have a moment if you're gonna attract the audience's attention. Otherwise, they move to the next thing.

Of course, a song / multiple songs can always go viral on TikTok but that's definitely not a default and stars would need to align for LG7 to achieve that.

Say what u want but I Think that LG7 will be a hit in the long run. I just can feel that the quality of the album will be like BTW but this time it will be appreciated! I don’t expect bigger numbers then Chromatica but that when Gaga will release the album the hype will be big enough to push it to 180-200k. I see the album to have amazing longevity just because of the quality and the songs being in dark-pop style as all of is wanted. Disease is a fantastic song and the album will serve only better!

Anyway, the perfect moment to announce LG7 pre-orders and album name is this week tbh. Big media promo coverage this week with Thanksgiving. Mainly why there's a lot of music and movie (trailers) drop as of now

I think it is not a wise idea at all. Launching a dark industrial pop album with Disease kind of song as preview during Thanksgiving sounds a bit disconnected to me. I think the first week of January is the best option, along with a new single.
