If anything, it should be moved up to Jan 31st to catch the Grammys hype but apparently interflop is scared to do so bc like damn that was such a no brainer to do Not to sound pessimistic but right now everything is red light for a successful album sales debut. At this point she could even miss #1 first week. There's not even pre-order set and album anticipation. October was meant to be her HUGE mediatic return with Joker (that was trashed and tanked to death), Harlequin (that nobody touched) and launch of LG7 single (that hugely underperformed). Three fails in a row... I could see them having some crisis reunion about what will happen with album launch tbh 8

I just think some adjusted plans may be in the work knowing how things went in the bad way commercially for her lately DWAS is not helping hype for next era that's for sure Edited Tuesday at 01:54 PM by monketsharona

Maybe some rework or additional adds on LG7 for a more digestible song on LG7 as next single ?

ConnorFilm 6,975
Can someone explain to me how this works? Disease is #14 on Mediabase's top 40 songs, but it's still only #18/19 on Billboard's US Pop Airplay chart. metalguru 949
Why label Harlequin a flop? It was never intended to be a major seller. As for Disease, it might simply be the foundation—setting the stage for a more promo-heavy second single. Some are already calling LG7 a potential underperformer, but it’s still months away. Sure, the hype isn’t overwhelming for a new album right now, but when has there ever been significant buzz before an album announcement? And let’s be honest, the general public is still preoccupied with Die with a Smile. I think she should go low profile until NYE, come back harder than ever with a second single, get an early high peak, and then promote both singles throughout JAN-FEB, and end the pre-album era with a third single just before the album release. 4 1

Cpeer 1,846
Love the daily dose of meltdowns Some information you missed: Disease gains in performance. Just because it’s -3 on Billboard doesn’t mean it’s doing worse number wise. Major releases from superstars are scheduled and for record labels known 6+ months ahead. Trust me Interscope and Gaga know about Adele and Lamar’s releases. It’s obvious the major promo spot is going to be Grammy Awards in February 2 1 1
