Gaga did a music video, two alternate versions, some social media stuff, and an interview (albeit it came out two weeks after the single).

I think she just needs more of a push tbh nowadays than her team and/or label realized. She can't pull a Beyonce or Ariana, and to be fair Ariana's songs post Thank You, Next don't have a lot of staying power...they tend to peak early and then drop dramatically. It's also possible they were worried about over-exposing her after Joker 2, and were overly cautious with her press.

It's also possible she just doesn't care about the charts at all, and I don't think she's super chart hungry anyway...but I do think she "somewhat" cares as she released multiple versions.

Anyway, I agree it's probably better to wait for the second single even though Disease did okay (it was top forty, and is still in the Hot 100 last I checked...it's not like Katy's latest). And at least Disease was well reviewed by critics.

I still don't think she has to do a ton of press, but a live performance during the first tracking week + physical copies + a more GP friendly song will be probably get her a top ten hit. The lack of physical copies really hurt Disease imo.

im gathering data for 3 of Gaga's christmas song since end of October on a weekly basis. Comparing this week to last full week streams of each song doubled.

Hmmm I don't think it's that bad and I still believe we can manage to be #1 in the end, here is why:

For the next week, DWAS loses 5% of points, the reason for this is primarily christmas songs. Just as Birds Of a Feather is dropping 7% in points. A Bar Song and Lose Control remain stable because their main factor is radio and they were already in a lower category of streams. DWAS and Birds Of A Feather both had really high streams, that category will be entirely replaced by christmas songs and the high-popular non christmas songs will drop to a lower category temporarily. 

For Radio: 
A Bar Song is dropping -0.5 every day with decreasing callout scores with higher burn ratio
Same for Espresso.
Lose Control is stable, but not high enough. 
DWAS is increasing +0.5 every day on average with increasing callout scores

Lets pause this radio trend because of christmas songs being there on radio instead and jump to January:

They will probably drop A Bar Song a bit more and also Espresso because they are both really old.

Radio will probably go for:
1. DWAS
2. StarGazing
3. Taste
(I assume this based on past peaks and growth) The rest will either remain stable or further decrease:

Unless there is a new hit song that will climb radio really fast, I don't see which song will overtake DWAS. Maybe an album drop from a big artist, but that will just occupy the top for 1 week. Also APT is not even close. Radio matters a lot still on Hot100. And DWAS has the highest potential to climb to nr. 1 after Christmas.

A Bar Song is currently nr. 1 with Spotify and Apple Music being around position 30. If DWAS can remain in streaming above that position and steals radio AI from A Bar Song, then there is much opportunity in January. It's basically dependent on the longevity of streams after christmas for DWAS in comparison to other songs and what the radio decides to keep in their programme or kick out. I hope they reduce A Bar Song from power to sub-power.

Either it's coming on Feb 14 or 21

Either they kinda changed stuff and delayed to March / April closer to her Coachella set and letting them time to grow the (on the floor) hype for new album. Which in a way wouldn't be an horrible decision to be trully honest

Delaying the album to another month is an absolutely horrible decision. If anything, it should be moved up to Jan 31st to catch the Grammys hype but apparently interflop is scared to do so bc like damn that was such a no brainer to do
