Shaboozey's label will absolutely push the next week, because if ABS gets its 19th week at #1 and DWAS will lose, the next week will be its 20th week which would mean THE LONGEST RUNNING #1 EVER beating Old Town Road's 19 weeks. Note: Shaboozey is scheduled for SNL on Dec. 7, his label is SO prepared for that all-time record VS Old Town Road. The next weeks after that are of course... MARIAH or Brenda Lee. I’m not convinced his performance was that helpful for chart success. It’s hard to judge how well it was received though because so many CMA enthusiasts are openly or “subtly” racist. I don’t think the GP watches the CMA awards really and that’s where his stronger support is. It’s the highest english song currently in India. We don’t have a lot of English songs, so DWAS reaching #24 is a big deal and shows how truly global DWAS is.
